Main Mission

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for the entire sales cycle for:

  • Acquiring new clients by prospecting across various channels to generate leads and convert them (trade shows, LinkedIn, personal network, consulting agencies, referral partners, etc.).

  • Developing their existing portfolio (upselling new products, connecting with other subsidiaries and/or divisions of the company).

 

Detailed Responsibilities (non-exhaustive)

Consultative Prospecting

  • Gather necessary information about the company and key contacts to approach.

  • Conduct initial meetings to introduce yourself and promote services.

  • Track all prospecting activities.

  • Adapt sales pitches to the prospect’s needs.

Selling & Managing Clients

  • Manage the entire process from service presentation, commercial terms negotiation, to contract closure.

  • Prepare commercial proposals.

  • Negotiate commercial terms.

  • Respond to calls for tender.

  • Ensure coordination between internal departments and the client to guarantee service quality and client satisfaction.

  • Oversee the entire client relationship (strategic and operational verification).

  • Define a strategy specific to your client portfolio for upselling (geographic expansion, revenue growth per client).

Analyzing & Monitoring KPIs

  • Perform weekly tracking of sales activity (number of clients met, proposals drafted, presented, sold, follow-ups completed) via Salesforce.

  • Analyze market trends and monitor competitors.

 

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience selling SaaS solutions in a similar sector (data management).

  • Fluent in English (Europe scope); German is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and rigorously.

  • Ability to present solutions convincingly and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to prospect methodically and strategically to reach the right contacts.
