Cloud Architect M/F

We are looking for a Cloud Architect Team Leader.

As a Cloud Architect Team Leader, you ensure the maintenance and evolution of the Cloud infrastructure in collaboration with your team members and R&D teams. To do so, you oversee the deployment, storage, as well as the management and security of data on external platforms.

 

Your main missions:

• Structure the internal information system.
• Design and analyze the system and network architecture of the company and cloud hosting based on needs and objectives.
• Configure and manage the cloud environment, including containers and native cloud services.
• Optimize cloud performance to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
• Design a roadmap, considering Equadis’ requirements and strategic vision, and ensure its adherence.
• Take charge of the deployment, storage, and data management on platforms both internal and external to the structure.
• Lead the implementation, documentation, and simulation of a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) to ensure business continuity in case of a disaster.
• Manage the team of system, network, and database engineers.
• Contribute to the design of the Infra/Cloud budget and ensure its adherence.
• Validate the choice of service providers and manage their relationships (outsourcers, consultants, etc.).
• In collaboration with the CISO, develop security plans on the cloud infrastructure to protect the company’s data against external threats.
• Draft internal documentation and stay updated on technological developments in infrastructure.

 

Your profile:

• 6 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in English and comfortable in French.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Holding the Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is a plus.
• Mastery of programming languages such as Java, SQL, and NoSQL.
• In-depth skills in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD Pipelines, Linux, Ansible.
• In-depth expertise in security aspects such as Firewall (Fortinet), Networking (VPC), access rights (IAM).

 

• Ability to design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures.
• Capability to automate repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to creatively solve problems and find innovative solutions.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Quick adaptability to technological changes and emerging market trends.

 

What we offer?

You will work full time, Monday through Friday and have one day remotely per week.

A corporate bonus is paid at the end of each year, after 6 months of seniority in the company.

The position is based in Beirut. This is a permanent contract.
